The Wonders of Blogging

I owe a lot to blogging.

  • The wonderful new friends I have made.
  • The networking opportunities it has provided.
  • The marketing lessons I could not have purchased.
  • The invaluable SEO information learned.
  • The tech information I never would have found.
  • The general information and perspectives gleaned.

But most importantly blogging professionally made it possible to revive a lagging business in a big way. When I started blogging, a few years ago, if anybody would have said that I would be read by well over 5,000 readers daily I would have laughed at them, heck I didn't know if I could even write, or what blogging was. I'm not laughing about it any longer, I'm now owner of several nationally recognized blogs all of which drive traffic and business. My entire business is now blog based!

Professionals across the country inquire about blogging - "Does it work?". Yep, it works - if you do. It requires a substantial amount of work, at least initially and a certain amount of maintenance, a sense of humor doesn't hurt either. Usually when they hear that it requires any effort at all, they just shake their heads and go along their merry way, waiting for a miracle. Blogging is the miracle, everything good requires work. Life is funny, in order to profit from it we need to make deposits.

The Fine Whine blog is a wonderful distraction for those of us contributing. This blog is a place where we can come and be lighthearted, carefree and just have a little fun with our whine.
