Is the Double Standard Still Alive?

OK, why is it that when men have a one night stand with a beautiful woman they get a pat on the back by their buddies while the woman is looked upon negatively by her friends-----------------and by his buddies!?!

Why the freaking double standard?

So why is it that women are shamed when they do the same things guys do? Why are women taught that it is wrong? If men can do it, women sure as hell can do it, too. Right?


In a professional environment a strong male boss is regarded with respect, while a strong woman boss is called a bitch! If a male boss has an affair with somebody in the office and the affair ends, why is it that the woman is the one out job hunting most of the time? If a female boss has an affair with an office mate and ends the affair, she usually becomes the target of nasty rumors. Few would dare to do that to a strong male boss.
