Don't you just love gossipers? It's like the game of telephone. Did you play telephone when you were a kid? You get about 30 people in a large circle and whisper something in the first ear. They in turn are supposed to whisper into the ear next to them and so on to the 30th participant.

But when you hear the story back at the end of the line it doesn't resemble the original story in the least.

I read a recent study that said, we as a society are so preoccupied that we only hear about 20% of what is said to us.

That explains why I find myself repeating 80% of what I have already said!
